Let's hear It For the Boy with an AXE Giveaway!!!!

Not too long ago, I enlisted the help of my older brother to review a product that has had me curious for quite some time. We've all seen the AXE hair commercials where a group of girls would ambush and ultimately fix up some poor schmucks filthy hair. So I decided to have my own little ambush- though not in the streets for fear of arrest and jail time. I cornered my brother, poor guy, and shoved a bottle of AXE Armor Anti Dandruff 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner in his hands and instructed him to go wash his hair.

This is probably the one time he listened to me, ever, in his life but that's because he's already a fan of AXE for their body spray collection. I, on the other hand, would like to think it's because he feared my wrath.

My dear brother has this insane issue with dandruff. He often complains about it and so far the only product that had helped him was some prescription only bottle but as with most prescription items- that baby was expensive. So he dealt with it by wearing a du rag or a fitted baseball hat.


While he showered, I visited http://www.axehaircrisisrelief.org/ to learn a little bit more about AXE (and guiltily watched those commercials again).

When he stepped out of the shower, there were no choir of angels but he looked refreshed and definitely pleased. Trying to get a formal review out of him was like pulling teeth. Most of the words consisted of "nice" and "it lathered nice". Men. But then he said it,

"My head hasn't felt this good in so long."

My brother, the guy who never commits to any one item, has given the seal of approval on a hair product. I think it was then I heard the choir of angels. He then proceeded to tell me how it smelled good and made his hair soft. His girlfriend also gave me the seal of approval, non verbally, as she kept on running her hands through his hair- something I have never witnessed while eavesdropping on their conversations (what?? I'm the youngest. It's my duty).
