Revlon Naturally Chic Artificial Nail
When I think of artificial nails, it automatically brings me back to when I was about 10 years old and my friends use to glue on these horribly fake ($1) nails. By the end of the hour, nails would be flying off and we walked around with the glue in our pockets (god forbid our nails broke around the boys!)
But thank goodness times have changed and brands create these faux ongles with quality and style. Any thoughts of my younger days were put to bed after I tried Revlon's artificial nails.
I tested out Revlon's Runway Collection (the set I used was Starlet- a pretty take on a French manicure with criss-cross design on the tips).
In the kit (L-R): Nails, nail glue, nail file/ buffer, cuticle stick
Since I was just planning on testing out the nails, I though removal would have been as easy as pulling the nails off (which actually the directions say NOT TO DO!) but it wasn't. That glue was on for sure! I was super impressed! They stayed on no matter how much texting I did that night and even lasted while I blogged. I woke up the next day and to my surprise, there they were.
They didn't budge!
This is really amazing. The only time a nail popped off was while I was hand washing some clothes (am I seriously the only person who still hand washes clothes??) but I kind of expected that as my hands were completely submerged in soapy water for a prolonged amount of time. Generally, however, you would need to soak your nails in acetone nail polish remover to remove the nails.
I love these and while I may not wear them everyday (it takes some getting used to in order to text!) I would definitely trust in wearing these for a night out (or a week when I don't want to do my nails!). They look real and unless someone is studying the anatomy of your finger, no one but you will know this was a do it yourself job.
Revlon's artificial nails also includes these other sets:
**Color Allure (available in six shades including a very glamorous red)
**Naturally Chic (Sophie & Audrey)
**Runway Collection (Stella, Sequins, Studio, Crocodile & Starlet)

Natalia Vodianova's versatility is beyond amazing.
