Women's Health Beauty Flip issue

Last week, I got to attend the Women’s Health 2nd annual Beauty Spa Event. It was quite exciting as Women's Health was also celebrating their April magazine's FIRST-EVER Beauty Flip issue... on newsstands NOW!

On one side of the magazine is the normal cover...
Flip it over and...ta da!!
Their beauty issue!

In this April Beauty Flip issue, Women's Health dishes on what they think is the Next Big Thing in beauty AND the Perfect Skin Diet.

BEAUTY’S NEXT BEST THINGS
Women’s Health reveals the 10 most anticipated beauty product launches/releases for 2009. These products have either just hit the market this year or will do so. My commentary is in the orange...

1. Sally Hansen’s Instant Dri Nail Color: 30-second manicure formula. I have to find this! So far the only nail polish that dries fast AND lasts long on my nails are Nail Tek Hydration Therapy Color nail polishes.

2. Estee Lauder’s Time Zone: NEW wrinkle-preventing protein

3. Organic bronzing spray: Go GREEN when you’re going bronze.

4. Latisse - the first FDA-approved prescription eyelash treatment for longer, lusher lashes minus the mascara) I don't know how I feel about products like these. Though I must say that I am intrigued and will probably want to test this out.Anything promising long lushes lashes has got my attention.

5. Professional Série Expert Volume Expand: calcium-infused shampoos and styling products that strengthen hair and silica to smooth cuticles

6. Schick Quattro for Women TrimStyle: Two-in-one hair removal; wet and dry razor in one I saw the commercial for this and I INSTANTLY wanted it! If it can reduce my time n doing ANYTHING than clearly I want it.

7. CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain: ALL-day lip color that will leave your lips smooth and pucker-ready into the evening. I've already heard the buzz around the blogoshere about this product. This has got to be the one lip product that I am not fascinated by simply because it's a stain. I find stains to be super drying and totally not for me. BUT I've already heard fellow blogging buddies Clumps of Mascara and Spoiled Pretty talking about this so...

8. 3Lab’s new “M” Cream: anti-aging stem-cell infused products. Fellow beauty blogger Mischo Beauty is a fan of 3Lab and I trust her on her advice on skin care

9. iLift Skincare System: DIY laser treatments

10. Reloxin: longer-lasting Botox

Gel-Nails said...

Interesting content.

Just wanted to share some information that may help busy professionals caught up with work and who have less time to maintain their nails. You can try out gel nails which are now becoming a hot favorite as they are natural looking even without nail tips and the best way for nail enhancement. Also, if you are allergic to those strong smelling chemicals which you can experience with acrylic nails, then you should use gel nails as these are odorless.

However, when you are planning on gel nail application, make sure you approach a nail salon or a nail artist who is well versed with gel nails and is properly trained and mastered in gel applications. This will save you from problems that can arise with improper gel nail applications.
