Happy New Year!! Wanted to kick off the year with a review and swatches of the NEW Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip products.
I was pretty excited about the release of Maybelline’s Vivid Matte Liquid lip color because I could have sworn they were liquid lipsticks. Apparently not. Watch for the full review!
They’re still very beautiful lip colors and if you’re someone who hates the dryness and flakiness of liquid lipsticks then be sure to give this a try. Just beware — they transfer pretty easily and you should definitely carry the lip color you’re wearing around with you, lest you want to have patchy lips. All in all, it’s an okay lip product. They glide on smooth and hydrate lips and are pretty comfortable on the lips. They’re definitely more of a medium coverage lip product offering more color than a traditional gloss.
