To be complete honest, I’m surprised this palette is still around! Released in late August, the Too Faced Stardust Eyeshadow Palette ($45.00) was a collaboration between Instagram star Vegas Nay and Too Faced. Like any self-respecting beauty enthusiast, I logged onto Ulta on the day it was released to make sure I got it before it sold out. Yet here we are.
In any case, I’m happy it’s still here since I never really got a chance to properly write about it. The palette includes twelve eyeshadows, a loose glitter, travel-sized Shadow Insurance primer, and travel-sized Better Than Sex mascara.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend picking up this palette. As I mentioned on YouTube, this palette is better than any of Too Faced’s holiday collections so if you’re a Too Faced devotee and can’t decide which one to choose, get this, followed by the La Petite Maison set. I don’t have any issues with the shadows in this set. The eyeshadows blend beautifully, pigmentation was good for many of the shades, they’re easy to build up, and there are a variety of finishes. Showgirl is my go-to and I recommend spraying your brush with Fix+ (or something similar) when using Golden Nugget. Pink Pearl is my least favorite but I never gravitate towards lighter pink shades.
Shades includes:
- Girl’s Night: matte deep warm brown
- Selfie: cream white with slight silver shimmer
- Chandelier: matte cream
- Golden Nugget: gold foiled coppery shimmer
- The Strip: silvered mauve
- Follow Me: vibrant blue purple with blue sparkle
- Showgirl: bronzed pearl
- Millennial: matte warm medium brown
- Pink Pearl: pearl cool light pink
- Double Tap: deep red brown with violet sparkle
- Sin City: matte black
- Jackpot: brown with gold shimmer
