whoa, whoa, whoa! I definitely did not mean to go almost TWO months without updating this thing. I rarely go that long without providing you with some sort of a half-assed update, so apologies dear readers. Are any of you left?
Anyway, allow me to get you up to speeed mmkay?
I started a YouTube channel! Thats’s right, I’m all up in your computer screen now. Nothing like talking to a camera in your empty apartment. SUBSCRIBE! I upload (or try to) once a week and share with you my latest splurges, favorites, and all that jazz.
At work we launched a new campaign (which is why I’ve been MIA) and it’s pretty neat. We spotlighted five amazing women doing extraordinary shit. The newest (and last) film in the series is about Jessica Matthews’ invention (SOCKETT) which is a soccer ball that generates electricity while children are playing. That electricity can then be used at night for them to power lights, etc.
I’ve been so immersed in the world of YouTube that I’ve fallen in love with Sigma makeup brushes. They’re affordable and there’s always a coupon code. Save 10% in October with code OCT2014
I may not update my blog often but I am always (ALWAYS) on Twitter. Follow me there so you know what’s the deal: @misswhoeverur
From time to time there’s a brand that releases a video that either makes me want to run out and go shopping, day dream, nod my head, or bring a smile to my face. Here are four that have come out recently that I can’t stop watching:
Elie Saab “Croisière à Paris”
Although I never really understood the purpose of Resort season, I can appreciate this video with models wearing delicate silk chiffon gowns riding across the Seine. Plus anything with Paris as a backdrop has me sold.
Louis Vuitton “Small is Beautiful!”
Too cute! According to Louis Vuitton “small is the new big.” Their mini bags are adorable and Hanneli, Miroslava Duma, and Elin Kling look like they’re having a blast.
Karmin & Coach: Sleigh Ride
Get in the holiday spirit! I was never really one for Karmin but…I mean…this video is so fun! Styled by Rachel Zoe, Karmin duo (Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan) look great while singing something sure to be stuck in your mind all day. You’ve been warned.
Tiffany & Co. “The Dream Maker”
I may be biased seeing as I’m crazy about Tiffany’s but this video is everything and more. At four minutes it’s pretty long but something about the dramatic music, beautiful jewelry, and the storytelling has me enamored.
There it is. A few of the videos that have kept me severely distracted at work. And you?
It’s no secret I’m a big Juicy girl. Always have, always will. Yesterday, I went to Lincoln Center to preview the brand’s Spring 2013 campaign video featuring Candice Swanepoel. Directed by Zoe Cassavetes, the short film is super cute and I spy a wide leg floral jumpsuit that has my name written all over it. In pink lipstick, natch.

Yesterday I took a quick run out of the office to screen the new Spring 2013 footwear campaign for Pour la Victoire. Shot by Terry Richardson, the campaign features model Jessica Hart and gives a quick glimpse into how the final campaign came to be. Take a quick look at the video below:
The collection (peek above) will be available next month.
