There are certain beauty products that when I finally get it my little hands on it, I immediately think “What took me so long?!?!” In this case what took me so long was the price. At $80 a pop the Viseart Matte Eyeshadow Palette is quite pricey but the reviews have been oh so good. I’ve hummed and hawed and finally bit the bullet in December because, holidays #treatyoself. Because I’m extra, I bought not one, but two, palettes during the Muse Beauty sale.
The Viseart Matte Eyeshadow Palettes have been favorites of makeup artists and are quite frequently sold out. To be honest, there isn’t much hoopla surrounding this. It comes in a simple clear plastic case that is slightly compact but it won’t get your heart racing. Each eyeshadow palette contains 12 individual pans there are palettes that contain all shimmer, all mattes, neutrals, or a bit of everything.
Viseart Matte Eyeshadow Dark Matte Palette

This palette contains 12 highly saturated matte shades in largely warm tones pigments. There’s a beautiful aubergine and burnt sienna that makes this this ultimate autumn winter eyeshadow palette. The eyeshadwos are rich and the looks you can create range from every day to sultry smokey looks.
Viseart Matte Eyeshadow Sultry Muse Palette

The Sultry Muse palette took me by surprise as I wasn’t really interested in it. As with most beauty products reviewed by Emily Noel, by the time she was done talking about it I knew I had to have it. The great thing with this palette is the variety of textures, between satin, shimmer and metallic. I imagined this would make the most perfect date night palette because the shades are chic and provide a subtle glow (that copper, though).
Overall, the Viseart eyeshadow palettes glide on lids and are easy to blend (there are two lighter shades in the Dark Matte palette that are a bit trickier but relatively easy to build). Viseart products are imported from France and contains organic ingredients. The shadows are not tested on animals and don’t contain parabens, gluten, petrochemicals, silicone or mineral oils.
Compared to other eyeshadow palettes in the same price range (think Chanel, Dior, etc.), these blow them out of the water! They last a long time, are easy to blend, and pretty travel friendly. The only problem with these palettes is now I want more 😂.
Viseart eyeshadow palettes are available at Sephora for $80.
I can’t decide which of those palettes I love more, the neutral one or the colorful one! I love the orange shade, and the pinks, in the neutral palette so that would probably be my choice. The price tag is hard to swallow but it definitely seems worth it!
If you have any of the Urban Decay Naked palettes, I say pick up the dark matte palette. The shades are pretty similar.
Great review.
