I’ve been slacking on the blog lately primarily because it’s summer and I’m feeling particularly sluggish. It’s hot and humid and my makeup game hasn’t been on point. In fact, I’ve pretty much skipped all makeup and have been focusing on my skincare (great skin = not having to rely on makeup).
There is one item, however, that is tempting me to slap it all on and that’s the newly released Lorac PRO Palette 2 ($42) - the sequel best-selling PRO Palette. SHOCKING BEAUTY BLOGGER NEWS: I don’t own the original Lorac PRO Palette gasp! shock! horror!

I know. I’m late.
But that hasn’t stopped me from lusting over palette numero dos upon its released. I received a sample and this PRO artistry palette is packed with 16 shadows total (eight Shimmer and eight Matte Eye Shadows) in all the cool shades you need to create some amazing looks. The plus side to this palette: supremely rich pigment that packs a punch. I’m still playing around with it but I am definitely recommending this based off of my first impression. If you use the mini Behind the Scenes eye primer that comes with it, then you’re set in terms of making the shadows last.
If you’re the visual type and are in need of swatches or tutorials, here are a few of my favorites:

thanks for following carolyn!!
I love the look of the Lorac pro pallet, but it cost so much for shipping to NZ. Almost half the amount of the actual Product. Love Casey Holmes, she’s amazing, and seems so genuine. Great post!
