in which i shop for the apartment i don’t have (again)

I had high hopes for finding an apartment in 2013 but unfortunately the real estate gods had planned otherwise. Although Ive put my apartment hunt on hold for now, it doesn’t mean I can’t draw up some wishlists while I bid my time. I’ve yet to define my style when it comes to decor simply because I’m a woman with many interests. While I can appreciate the minimalist approach, I’m attracted to loud colors and terribly cute pieces. I definitely want there to be cohesion and the room (rooms if I’m lucky but NYC seems to be a studio only town if you’re on a budget) BUT my personal taste is all over the place.

I can’t help it - I’m attracted to pretty things.

Hopefully 2014 will be kinder in terms of landing my apartment. Fingers crossed!
