“Black Swan” Star, Mila Kunis, at the 68th Annual Golden Globes

For the 68th Annual Golden Globes, makeup artist Tracey Levy created a look that was “fresh and effortless, with a touch of Audrey Hepburn.” With an asymmetrical neckline and twisted fabric, Kunis’ emerald green Vera Wang gown screamed elegance as she walked the red carpet. Her gown was paired with YSL heels, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Judith Leiber clutch.

Kunis’ signature smokey/ heavily lined eyes took a break for the evening as Levy used coral hues on the starlet for the evening. Using Lancome makeup, Levy applied Teint Miracle Lit From Within foundation and Blush Subtil in Sheer Amourose. Her eyes were swept with Lancome’s soon to be released Color Design Pan Palette in Coral Crush and Teal Fury. Her mile long lashes were graced with a bit of Hypnose Drama mascara in Excessive Black. On her lips, Levy applied L’Absolu Nu lipstick in Coral Ribbon (out in March) for a beautiful, peachy pout.

Her hair was styled by TRESemmé Celebrity Stylist, Mara Roszak, who was inspired by Kunis’ green Vera Wang number and created a “sophisticated and feminine up-do.” This modern French twist is a little Hollywood glam and Audrey Hepburn rolled into one.

To get the look, Roszak sprayed TRESemmé Naturals Finishing Spray on damp hair and rough blow dried to add body. Roszak sectioned off the top half of her hair and applied TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Root Boost Spray to give hair lift at the crown. The top section was then blow dried and pin curled from front to back to add wave and texture. The bottom half was pulled back tightly and gathered as if you are creating a ponytail. Starting at the nape of the neck, the hair was twisted upward in a crisscross pattern at the crease. The pin curls were undone and teased. Next, the top section was brushed backward and tucked underneath French twist. To set hair and provide a lasting hold, the stylist sprayed TRESemmé’s TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray. Finally, to soften the look, the hair was gently loosened around hairline and ears.

Glamour Women of the Year: Get the Looks!

On Monday night, Glamour magazine held their 20th annual Women of the Year Awards to honor some of the most respected, empowered, and downright inspiring women.

Two of the most amazing women that night were Hilary Swank and Julia Roberts, both of whom presented awards that evening.

Photos from glamour.com

Swank, draped in a Versace gown, looked radiant and even said “I now consider Versace my good luck charm.” Her makeup was done by Clarins Celebrity Beauty Artist, Pati Dubroff, who created Swank’s look using the tones of the dress- dusty pewter with intricate brass details.

* To achieve smooth and even looking skin, Dubroff prepped the face with Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch and prepared it for Clarins Instant Smooth Foundation. For a nice, subtle flush on cheeks, Pati used Clarins Multi-Blush Cream in Tender Lichee to keep skin looking warm and healthy.

* On the eyes, Dubroff used a matte dusty pewter on the eye contour and a pop of shimmering brassy bronze in the center. On lashes, she used two coats of Wonder Perfect Mascara in black. To finish the eyes Pati defined the brows using Clarins Pro Palette Eyebrow kit.

* To complete the look, Pati used a single coat of Rouge Prodige lipstick in nude paired with a top coat of Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector to create a softer, fuller and more radiant looking lip.

Julia Roberts, the master of minimalism yet keeping it glamorous, rocked a black L’Wren Scott dress underneath her double-breasted coat with some leopard print heels for a hint of pizazz. Her makeup, done by longtime makeup artist Genevieve Herr, was just as radiant.

*Julia’s subtly smoky eyes were done up with Ombre Absolue Quad in Les Gris L’Wren from the L’Wren Scott for Lancôme holiday color collection. Genevieve used two of the shades; the sheer gray was swept onto the outer lid, the crease and outward and the black was used as liner.

*Topping the look was Hypnôse Drama in Le Noir L’Wren, a shimmering mascara that Genevieve says added “a lot of glamour.”

*On her lips, Genevieve used L’Absolu Rouge Crème de Brillance in Le Rouge L’Wren. This intense berry gloss provided the perfect contrast for Julia’s dark dress and eyes, says Genevieve.

*Lancôme’s Teint Miracle Lit-from-Within Foundation delivered flawless skin, while Blush Subtil Powder Blush in Rose Romantique added that finishing touch of color.

The L’Wren Scott for Lancôme holiday color collection is now available on lancome-usa.com, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.

Get the Look: Jennifer Garner

Looks like I”m not the only fan of Juicy Couture!

Jennifer Garner was spotted rockin’ Juicy’s Rib and Waffle Knit Cardigan ($198) over the weekend while playing soccer at the park in Santa Monica.

To get the look, finish it off with a pair of light wash bootcut jeans (may I suggest the Zoe Bootleg jean- $119) and sneakers (I love anything from Nike) and you’re good to go!

Blake Lively at the 2010 MET Ball

I’m a wee bit iffy about Blake Lively only because she seems far TOO tan…is it just me?? Blake Lively, aka Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl, wore a (very) short and gorgeous peacock draped chiffon strapless Marchesa dress with ruffled paisley detail.

The 22 year old actress seems to love the color blue (she wore it last year) and also loves pulling her hair back. Granted her hair falls loose in just about every scene in GG and magazine cover she’s in, but I’d love to see her to something else- half updo? slightly messy ‘do? Her hair is always severay pulled back, but being as gorgeous as she is, she pulls it off well.

NARS Makeup Artist Elaine Offers did Lively’s makeup- I just want those lashes!!

Maggie G Lovin’ NARS’ Summer Colors

Celebrity makeup artist Dotti created Maggie Gyllenhaal’s look for the Metropolitan Opera gala premiere of Armida, hosted by YSL.

“I liked the texture of the Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base so much that we decided to go without any color on the eyes,” Dotti said of the look.

Rockin’ a nude chiffon YSL gown, Gyllenhaal’s makeup complimented her look perfectly. Word is the starlet is loving NARS’ new summer collection too! Dotti used the Beverly Hills Multiple Tint as well as Pro-Prime Smudge-Proof Eyeshadow Base, both available May 1st. To accent Maggie’s cheeks, Dotti opted for a very clean, nude eye.
