Cocktails with Clairol & Christina Hendricks

I recently had the chance to sip cocktails and ham it up with the absolutely stunning IRL Christina Hendricks and boy was I smitten by her! (disregard my oily face, mmkay)

The new Clairol Nice ‘n Easy’s Ambassador recently shifted a shade from the signature red she’s been sporting for Mad Men to Nice ‘n Easy Permanent Color in 8G, Natural Medium Golden Blonde. That said Hendricks isn’t one to shy away from switching it up, I learned after a lightening round of questions. After a Clairol dye job by her mom when she was younger, she went through a dark, goth stage, followed by the red we’ve come to know and adore.

Why the sudden change from red? “You know, I was moving to New York. The show had just ended and I felt like it was time for a change,” Hendricks tells me. Her tip for women looking to shift a shade? “Go for it! Don’t be afraid.”
