Last Friday, I was whisked off to Southampton for the day to celebrate the new collaboration between GLOSSYBOX and retailer C. Wonder. Being released just in time for summer, C. Wonder and GLOSSYBOX partnered to create an Independence Day-themed box of beauty products you’ll actually love.
The C. Wonder Stars & Stripes GLOSSYBOX will feature full and deluxe-sized versions of a few beauty must-haves and new to me items, including:
C. Wonder Mystery Gift Card! Each recipient will receive a gift card with a value between $5-$500 that can be redeemed at C. Wonder stores nationwide or at www.cwonder.com
The Stars & Stripes GLOSSYBOX will be available for $21 at select C. Wonder store locations starting the the first week of July including Southampton (New York), Nantucket (Massachusetts), Lenox Square (Atlanta, GA), King Street, Charleston (South Carolina), Tysons Corner Center (Virginia), and The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City (Washington, D. C.).
Disclosure: I attended a press trip and a sample of the GLOSSYBOX.
It’s no secret that I work with Glam from time to time but when they reached out asking if I’d like to be part of their “Style Squad” I said yes simply because I love saying the words “Style” and “Squad”. Call me childish if you like, but it makes me think of a team of people working to make me look damn good. *snaps in a z formation*
First up, is werking it during the holidays. I received a package with a sampling of products (listed below and also all over my Instagram feed) designed to get me through the holidays and beyond if I say so myself. From on-the-go kits to stylish bracelets and bangles to the must-haves in beauty. The Isaac Mizrahi “Fabulous” is a delightful scent that’s light and refreshing but not too sweet.

here’s my dilemma: come colder climates, I tend to give up on looking somewhat human and opt for something comfortable and warm. In the past, it wasn’t stylish, simply frumpy. This season, I’m making it my mission to not only keep warm but look good in the process. There’s no reason to give up just because the weather is not on my side.
I was recently gifted this scarf, which is part of the Anna Karenina collection by Banana Republic, which definitely takes dressing warmly up a notch. It’s pretty versatile and can definitely see it being heavily rotated. See also: this amazingly awesome bag. While it isn’t “seasonally appropriate” (whatever that means) due to it’s bright color BUT it’s too gorgeous to tuck away for Spring.
writing summer roundups often make me sad simply because that means the end of summer is nigh. while I don’t want it to be completely over (hello weekend beach trips!), I’m not completely sad (fall shopping!). so as we’re in the midst of august, why not do a round up of my summer must haves?
Vaseline Total Moisture Aloe Fresh
In a Vaseline® Total Moisture® Study, 93% of the members said they’d recommend Vaseline® Total Moisture® lotion. Count me in! The aloe fresh lotion is super lightweight, smells good, and provides great moisture (without feeling thick or heavy). The scent is wonderfully light, meaning it doesn’t interfere or compete with my fragrance. This is actually something I plan on continuing to use into the fall.
Bobbi Brown Beach Eau de Parfum and Caudalíe Beauty Elixir
Bobbi Brown’s Beacheau de parfum is summer in a bottle. I spent most of my summer tracking it down — so popular it was sold out everywhere! Some say it smells like sunscreen but, oddly enough, I don’t get that at all. It has an intoxicating blend of jasmine, sea spray, and mandarin; it’s perfect for day because it’s not over powering, but super fresh and crisp. Caudalíe’s Beauty Elixir is something that’s been in my beauty arsenal for a while but have never used. Why? NO CLUE! Part serum mist, part toner, all amazing. I use it before applying moisturizer and carry it in my bag for a quick pick me up during the day. Super refreshing on super hot days.
Maybelline Color Nail Lacquer in Pink ShockandSweet Clementine
Maybelline recently launched a new nail lacquer line complete with 40 shades, an app where you can virtually try on the colors and a Pinterest board for inspiration. Talk about going HAM. First, kudos to Maybelline for putting the labels on the top so I don’t have to dig to find a shade. While all of the polishes vary in texture and opacity, I’ve found that Pink Shock (a bright pink) and Sweet Clementine (pretty tangerine) look great with 3 coats and lat about four to five days without chipping.
Watch by C. Wonder both bracelets by J. Crew.
You’ve no doubt seen these in my outfit posts but I had to include them anyway. I’ve been wearing these everyday since I purchased them and refuse to wear anything else most days.
Theyskens’ Theory Atter Medium Turnlock Bag
Ladylike, compact, and super red. I’m trying to get into smaller bags and this is doing the trick.
Don’t forget to enter my Vaseline giveaway (extended!). Leave a comment below (or email me firstname.lastname@example.org) and share how many lotions you have in *your* medicine cabinet, for a chance to win a Vaseline Total Moisture. FIVE winners will be selected.
