The sole purpose of yesterday’s outfit was to test the limits on how many shades of pink I can pull off in one outfit. What’s not pictured here is my pink hat AND beats headphones (I figure, I’d spare you). #killedit
Can we also talk about my sneakers? They’re part of the Kate Spade x Keds collection and my second pair. I can’t say no to polka dots and gingham so I ended up picking up both pairs and cannot wait to wear it all summer. They’re unbelievably comfy (doesn’t hurt the arch) and a-do-ra-ble!
After shopping my life away these past couple of weeks, I’ve instituted a strict shopping ban for the next 60 days since I really need to save. Apartment hunting has proven just how poor I am and need to save up since my budget can get approximately a half a room in NYC (not fun).
outfit details: blazer and tee: forever 21 // jeans: madewell // sneakers: kate spade x keds // bag: coach (gifted) // watch: bcbg (gifted) // sunglasses: cole haan (gifted) // necklaces: my mom’s and juicy couture

here’s my dilemma: come colder climates, I tend to give up on looking somewhat human and opt for something comfortable and warm. In the past, it wasn’t stylish, simply frumpy. This season, I’m making it my mission to not only keep warm but look good in the process. There’s no reason to give up just because the weather is not on my side.
I was recently gifted this scarf, which is part of the Anna Karenina collection by Banana Republic, which definitely takes dressing warmly up a notch. It’s pretty versatile and can definitely see it being heavily rotated. See also: this amazingly awesome bag. While it isn’t “seasonally appropriate” (whatever that means) due to it’s bright color BUT it’s too gorgeous to tuck away for Spring.
blouse: ASOS; skirt: Free People; tights: Duane Reade; shoes: Stuart Weitzman (similar); watch: BCBG Max Azria (gifted); bracelets: Juicy Couture chain link and BaubleBar
LOOKIE HERE! AN OUTFIT POST! After a hurricane, Nor’easter, and biting winds the weather in NYC has warmed up a bit (we’re talking 63°F in November) – so I had to get all dressed up, natch. A failed attempt at organizing my closet this weekend opened my eyes to the fact that I have a LOT of unworn clothes. Top that with my recent purchases, I’m swimming laps of ASOS, Zara, and J. Crew.
Case in point: this blouse from ASOS I bought in early summer prepping for Autumn (yeah you read that right). I discovered it in the back of my closet, hanging neatly with the tags on. Woman with a problem.
dress and flats: Zara; bag: Alexander Wang; bracelets: both J. Crew (here and similar); watch: BCBG (gifted)
Between back-to-back in person client meetings and impromptu dinz with friends, I’m unbelievably happy I purchased this Zara dress. I bought it several months ago and the sales kid proclaimed that I would break hearts and steal numbers. While that didn’t quite happen, I DID get a butt load of compliments from random women all day long. Either way…win win
I chopped off a good two inches of hair and now have a bob. I’m still trying to get used to short hair – last time I did this I looked like Dora the Explorer but this look is a bit layered and not as blunt
my legs look fucking amazing in these photos so this skirt/shoe combo will most likely be repeated several times before winter
polka dots give me life, pink is my power color, so this J . Crew Tippie sweater is perfection. So perfect that I wore a sweater in summer
rose gold is my new favorite thing in life (blame the bag) and I’ve been acquiring rose gold jewelry like it’ll never be sold again. The latest to join my massive pile of jewels is this BCBG watch which looks like a men’s watch but doesn’t overpower my tiny wrists
That’s my best “HEY! I’m a personal style blogger crossing the street!” look
