are you wearing a leather shell?

that’s how I was greeted by just about everyone when I wore this outfit.

And, yes, I AM wearing a leather shell. The Vena Leather Shell is made of buttery soft leather and has a zipper back detail. PJK is a collection of effortlessly chic basics designed by California-girl Chelsey Santry and is now available online. To be honest, I quickly put this outfit together after feeling less than stellar but I perked up once hearing how fab I looked (and if you know me, the easiest way to make me like you is to pay me a compliment).

Also on my hallelujah list is this Kirna Zabete for Target blazer. On one hand I look like a member of The Temptations, and on the other I look polished. Total win-win.

    Love this look and love the new cut! That leather shell is everything. I’ve been on the hunt for a leather skirt & now I’m thinking I’ve gotta have that leather shell too–oy! And blazers will forever be cool, chic & classic no matter what! ;)
