To Pouf or Not To Pouf...

At the Oscars, Miley Cyrus drew some mixed reactions.

Why is she there? What is she wearing? Stand up straight girl! Her mom did what?!?!

But the one thing I will say is that her hair looked amazing. I love me a good pouf and I've been toying around with the idea of actually doing one on my own hair. Except mine will be a lot less Snooki and more along Miley's.

I NEVER thought I'd say I'd do anything Cyrus inspired.

To get the hold without the crunch, I'll be sure to check out several hairsprays that promise long lasting hold without messing up my 'do. Check it out:

Profound Beauty Stylist Volume Power ($27): This baby sprays at a whopping 75 mph and promises to create unprecedented volume and dramatic root lift, leaving your hair noticeably fuller and thicker. Seeing as Ihave fine hair, I need something that is lightweight and doesn't skimp on performance, so this sounds like a match made in heaven. Check it out on http://www.profoundbeauty.com/.

Sebastian Professional Re-Shaper hairspray ($16.50): This is my current go to hairspray. It has never let me down and- dare I say it- I don't think any other hairspray can compete with it. This provides amazing hold without leaving any icky residues on my hair. It's completely brushable and I've ben known to spray this on my brush instead of directly onto my hair for beter results. Since I've used this before (and do so on a normal basis) I can attest to the fact that it holds. Check it out on http://www.sebastianprofessional.com/.

got2b smooth operator smoothing hairspray ($5.99): The last spray on my radar is definitely got2b's smooth operator smoothing hairspray. It's a light-weight spray says it can handle hair all night, but won’t leave hair crunchy and dry in the morning. Nothing's worst than horrid morning after hair...

...ick

Again...never would I have thought that hannah Montana (as my 11 year old cousing knows her) would have inspired..well, anything...but she has. And I must live with it. Now pass me a paddle brush...

I have to wrestle with my stylist who is prone to poof. I keep telling her my head is too big.

However, I agree. Miley looks amazing.
