It's Only Natural...

With a Spring Season state of mind, I'm ready to shed the layers and whip out my platform wedges and the light cardis. With the change in weather comes the change in our skin care and makeup routines. Gone are the thick mosturizers and cleansers that are too heavy for warm weather.

Welcome St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea to your regimen. Thi two step process is gentle enough for sensitive skin yet tough enough to handle acne and breakouts. Monday morning, I was invited to a breakfast to learn more about the products and to speak to Dr. Marsha Gordon, skincare expert and dermatologist.

Dr. Gordon has been working in theindustry for 22 years (that's how old I am!!) so she knows her stuff and believes in St. Ives' products and tuly recommends the Green Tea line.

The Naturally Clear Green Tea line consists of the cult fave scrub and cleanser. The Green Tea Scrub ($5.69) still has the effectiveness of the traditional St. Ives scrub but this time around the beads are inier and gentler- perfect for those who suffer from sensitive skin, or those like me, who skin isn't sensitive but was still irritated by the older St. Ives scrubs. This daily scrub is designed to prevent blemishes while exfoliating and removing dead skin cells.

Gentle enough to use every day (once a day) this oil free formula is known to help soothe skin and reduce redness caused by acne with 100% natural Green Tea. It's made with 1% Salicylic Acid to gently yet effectively, clear blemishes caused by acne.

Having just used the Naturally Clear Green Tea Cleanser ($5.69) for the first time tonight, I cannot speak of it's claim to sliminate breakouts but I can and will vouch for how soothing and gentle this cleanser is. It removed my makeup with just one use- perfect for the late nights I'm guilty of having. It soothes skin with 100% natural Green Tea and truly leaves the skin clean. Made with 2% Salicylic Acid- known for its ability to clear blemishes cased by acne- this formula is oil free and great for those who can't take harsh cleansers. My one love with this product is that it didn't leave my skin feeling super tight post wash.

Hallelujah!

Uh oh! Green Tea is the keyword for me. I'm obsessed with it in all forms. Unfortunately, I don't think I can toss away my face wash just yet. I'll wait until it stops working as well. I do, however, love it when a face wash doesn't leave your skin tight. That is so annoying!
