But in all seriousness, I apologize for my computer's attitude and I will make it up to you...
While browsing my deleted emails in Gmail, I came across one that made me smile a bit. It's from Amy, who I met a couple of weeks ago at the Dress for Success event held at Big Drop NYC.
Other than having a great sense of style, Amy has started up her own blog, http://thedesignista.blogspot.com. Check it:
The Designista is going to catalog my experiences through this city related to all things design- interiors, furniture (new and used,) events and ettiquette, florals, art, food and museums, and so much more. And the greatest thing- most posts will be budget sensitive! Because let's face it, everyone should have the option to live the glamorous and fabulous life....all you need is a little creativity and the willingness to pick up a tool once in a while!
I seriously spent an entire afternoon reading every. single. post. She's a great writer and I love reading about her experience as a New York Newbie. I'm planing to (finally) move out of my mom's house upon graduating college next year (Class of 2010! Woot! Woot!) so it's great reading her posts on finding inspiration or antique findings.
Bt dubs, I feel like I'm THE LAST person to move outta their parent's house! I know I'm only 21 but..dude..I want out!
Anywhoo...welcome Amy to NYC and the blogosphere! Make sure you take some time out gals to visit her blog. A new blog added to your blog reading rotation isn't such a bad thing hen it's well written and entertaining =)
