yesterdays Post Today

I had a really sweet picture of the tents that I took on my phone but this stupid thing doesn't let me send pictures via Blackberry to Blogger (does anybody know how???) So I'll share this with you later.

Anywhoo, Fashion Week is here and I couldn't be happier! If you know me, I love FW like no other...even if I'm an outsider looking in. And its surprising to me how sooooo many people DON'T know what's going on at Bryant Park?!?! I overheard a convo this morning

Lady: "ohh whats that over there??"
Friend: "what's what"
Lady: "that tent over there"
Friend: "hmm I don't know. Maybe some rally or something"

A rally? Really? Like the BIG sign that says "Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week" doesn't give it away.

But my day couldn't have started out any worse. I woke up late and thus was late to a meeting, missed the Jason Wu show I was invited to (I'm still crying) but now all is well cuz I am getting my hair done and later have an event to attend so I'm happy for now...somewhat.

Is it me or is getting your hair done at a salon make the world seem sooo much better?

Thoughts? Questions?

And don't worry, your personal FW Stalker (me) will continue to stalk the tents in hopes of seeing Glenda Bailey, Anna Wintour, or Linda Wells...if you don't know who those are look at the mastheads of your magazines.

You know who else is having a bad day so far, model Arlenis Sosa stumbled this morning at the BCBG Max Azria show. Already!!?!?!! It was one of the first shows of the week! Poor thing...but she's lucky she's one of those "it" models of the season-and when your Italian Vogue pic looked as fierce as hers did, I don't think anybody cared.
