Dude: "You look tired"
Me: (turn to face dude) "You talkin' to me or your bluetooth"
Dude: (laughs) "you"
Me: "Is that the new pickup line or are you seriously trying to play me as the train is approaching the station???"
Now I was a bit snippy but...do you really tell people- that you don't know- that they look tired (basically- "You look like crap")? And do you say it in public??!!?
Manners much?? The only people I could say that to are my very good homegurls who I can say anything to.
Anywhoo...when I received a box in front of my door (stinkin' mailman ain't even ring the bell...don't he know I live in Brooklyn, I'm lucky I got my package) containing Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask I got a bit excited. Not only because I love packages with goodies (sometimes goodies I'd order online than forgot about) but maybe because this could be my saving grace. Now normally I wouldn't mind what a random guy says on the street but...this wasn't the first time I'd heard that.

I actually hear quite often (do I really look that bad in public??)
So eager to test this puppy out, I followed the instructions (a first). Now problem number one with this product is that it's a pump. I love pumps. I just keep going and going until I see what I think is enough. Normally this is way too much. (so it may not be a problem with the product per se, but...). Other than having bubbles in my nose, it was kinda fun applying this on (I'm a foam addict and once I see foam I'm convinced that the product works). Once on, you're supposed to leave it on for 5 minutes and 5 minutes only since it was created for fast action and oxygen release (in other words, really potent!).
Now a mask, in 5 minutes...I was skeptical.
And maybe it was my heavy handed lathering skills, but my face felt dry and tight and I threw this product to the side and cussed. Loudly.
But not one to quit, I tried this out again (yesterday) right before my date (yes I said date as in interacting with the male species) and having come from work, I needed a pick me up. I was less aggressive with the pumping and...TA-DA!
My initial misconceptions were proven wrong. My face was bright and dewy. Note that I said dewy and not greasy...two very different things people! Having oily skin is a major dilemma but this product just made my shine in the right way. And I was quite satisfied...so happy I felt no need to put on makeup (!)
Ok I lie...I definitely had on mascara and lipgloss.
Overall..A+++++++ especially considering that the original Triple Oxygen™ Treatment in the spa themselves is 85 minutes long (who has that kind of time!) and is at around $160. But for $52 you got yourself a 5 minute wake up call for your skin (and you could do it three times a week!)
Oh and as far as dude in previous convo goes- he didn't make it past the pizza shop. This new dude I went on a date with...I don't know- he said he hates makeup on girls (!) so I doubt he'll last...ain't nobody separating me from my MAC 227!!
