Keep the Change...Alexis Hudson "Change" Tote

Handbag creators, Rachelle Copeland and Emily Ironi, of Alexis Hudson has joined forces with LA artist Greg Miler to design art for their "Change" bag.

This bag is sort of their response to the whole election going on, or rather their support of the election. No matter if you're an Obama supporter or a McCain supporter, either way we all want the same thing for the US- a change (haha, I'm so horrible at inserting puns lol).

"Making beautiful bags is important, but having a healthy planet, economy and society is critical. That's why we decided to get involved and support the campaign," states Emily Ironi. "The 'Change' bag is designed for everyone who believes in hope, change and our political system. It's a statement bag," adds co-creator Rachelle Copland.

Apparently Rachelle and Emily picked Greg 'cuz of his "creative sensibility and originality" and they think that he fit the Alexis Hudson spirit.

"As a painter and filmmaker I love the use of fashion as an open canvas for stimulating change of perception. I strongly believe that at this time in our country the relationship of art and fashion can come together as a visual tool for raising the political awareness of the public," says Greg Miller.

If you've read MissWhoever-You-Are for a while, you'll know of my obsession for Alexis Hudson handbags- especially the Santorini clutch which, after a year, is still on my "Wants" list. I want this bag...end of story. I also spy some comfy looking slippers and a really cute scarf. Yeah...I want it all.

The bag costs $95 and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Rock the Vote.
