Hervé Léger is a PHENOMENAL designer and I have been DYING to get my hands on one of his bandage dresses since FOREVER!! (ok like last year lol). So imagine my face when I realized that I'd be covering backstage beauty at Hervé Léger Spring/Summer show this season.

"Pared down punk" was the universal theme for the makeup. This was seriously the "Anti Amy Winehouse" as Val out it. The models sported fresh skin with no foundation on the skin just concealer in places that needed "refreshing". MAC Strobe Cream was the only thing on the models faces and the lips only had Lip Conditioner SPF 15 (only!!) patted on to their lips.

The eyes is where it's at with this makeup look. Minimal smokey eye was the goal. The artists Smolder Eye Kohl was pplied to water line and in between lashes of top and bottom lash lines. Then they applied a thin line of BlackTrack Fluid Line top of the eye kohl. It was then
set with powder to make the look stay. On the lashes, the artists applied one coat of Pro Lash in Black.
This is definitely the dark eye for summer, and was lined super thin and close to the lash line.
For hair it is very rock and roll inspired with straight punky look. Think the aggressive girl in high school who you were afraid to get stuck with in the bathroom. Products used on the hair were Bumble & Bumble Does It All Hairspray and Thickening Spray.
