MissWhoever You Are

So when Robyn Rihanna Fenty came on the scene...I really disliked her. To me she was just another teen pop chic and really I wasn't havin' that. But her songs was too catchy to avoid (not to mention everywhere you went "Pon de Replay" was being blasted). For me she was too much like the other pop girls- the only thing I was happy about was the fact that she was a West Indian woman doin' big things...West Indian loud and proud.

To me she had no look...no edge...not really memorable as a person. Yes she's pretty and I envied that light brown hair (I've been wanting to color my hair but am too punk) but at the end of the day she was just "whats-her-name"


But then she came out of nowhere with that bob and the jet black hair...needless to say I was caught off guard. And the music had changed too..it was less little girl and more badass (I'm convinced I'm a tough badass chick inside). Now I find myself watching (and envying her style).

She now sports my fave look EVER- the smokey eye.


Her clothes- FIERCE! Her legs- FLAWLESS! Her voice- much better than before =)

So good job Rihanna, had you stayed on your squeaky-clean-good-girl-I'm-just-another-pop- star status..I would've never downloaded (and bought) your songs off of iTunes. Thank you for bringing the ever evolving and badass yet beautiful/fashionable side of you to us mere civilians.
