Ok so with the start of Spring, comes the slew of new fragrances. Just like we change our skincare/ make up routine from winter to spring, so should our fragrances...somewhat. Now I'm a fan of wearing what you want when you want but...there are times when wearing Trésor in 95 degree weather is just a bit much. At least to me, I don't know about you...
And in case you guys have missed the 1547997613794 articles/ message boards/ blog posts about what the "it" fragrance of the spring/ summer will be...FEAR NOT! Yours truly will dish on what some of the nicest (at least to me..hehe) fragrances are. I am no fragrance master...I don't claim to be some top notch perfume aficionado...far from. But I can't let that stop me (I am woman hear me roar). So I've decided to start my own Fragrance Series (I know, soo original..lol). here I will dish on scents that I love, hate, and never want to take off.
To kick this series off, I mustttt talk about my newest love and my personal "classic"- that is a perfume that no matter how old I am, where I live, who I'm with I will always and forever love this perfume.
Stella by Stella McCartney is one of the best investments I have ever made.
"
A fragrance based on the contrast between the freshness and softness of the rose, and the dark sensuality of amber, Stella is a sophisticated scent focused on an intense sense of femininity.
The concept of the Stella McCartney bath line is based on an ecological and organic cosmetology, selecting the best natural raw materials and capitalizing on vegetal extracts based on organic agriculture and on extraction methods that respect and protect the natural life force of the plants. "
Femininity for sure. When I wear this , can't nobody tell me nothing! This perfume is intense (but in a good way). It's definitely not for the timid. It doesn't yell at you but instead it calls you to it. It's such a sensual fragrance, I can't help but feel sexy in this. This isn't one of those perfumes that come off as heavy as most dark fragrances (dark to me means anything woodsy or non floral and fruity). It's no Dior Poison but It's soo not Into the Blue by Escada.
Is it better for winter?...some might say so but I'll wear this bad boy any day during the summer. I've kind of saved it for times when I'm going out with the boyfriend (who LOVESSSS this scent) or a cocktail party or something.
I highly recommend this perfume...
to everyone...
like now...
go get it...
