Product Review: LORAC Blush

Crimson (crimson with gold shimmer)

Lately I've decided that I'm going to start wearing blush. I normally thought that it would be too much wering the whole pressed powder, blush, eye shadow, lip gloss, etc. but after seeing a friend of mine pull it off beautifully during fashion week, I thought "Why Not?!" And it's not like I'll be doing it everyday.

So I went to Sephora (a.k.a Beauty Heaven for beauty junkies) and started my journey. I was a woman on a mission. Now the only issue is that I didn't want something that was so blatantly obvious that I was wearing blush. I just wanted that flushed look so it looks like I went jogging- without the physical labor or sweat. I went to my fave products (Too Faced-love their mascara, Sephora brand- love their lipsticks, Stila- love their lip glaze) but was disappointed at the selection. Everything was pink and being that I had just gotten my MAC Fafi blush in pink, I wanted more of a rosy/reddish color.

It was up until I went to the LORAC section that I nearly dropped to the ground. I picked up the crimson color and went nuts! The tester looked soooo gorgeous on my cheeks. It provided everything I was looking for- beautiful color that doesn't look like makeup. It has a nice crimson color (not too strong) with a little shimmer (I'm falling in love with shimmer).

Last year it was Tarte's Cheek Stain but I'm kind of tired of the water based product and want something that was easy (for me since I'm a klutz/spaz) to apply. Now I kinda want a blush minus the shimmer so I think I'm going to go back to Tarte for the All Natural Cheek Stain (cheek stain minus the water based formula).

Well we'll just have to wait and see...

I'm the exact same. I thought wearing blush would be TOO much... I still don't wear it, but I probably will at some point. I feel like being young is make-up enough. When I get older and need a bit of color I'll do it.

Glad you found some that worked!
