The "New" Sex and the City?...

We all know and love Sex and the City. It is still one of those irreplacaeble shows that no matter how many reruns you see on TBS, you can't help but watch. But I must say, Darren Star (producer of SATC)does know how to work his magic. He is behind the new show "Cashmere Mafia" on ABC (Wednesday nights at 10pm...I know it rivals with Project Runway but there's always the repeat at 11pm on Bravo or Project Runway). Cashmere Mafia is, to some, the new Sex and the City. The major difference- there's no narration by a stylish woman named Carrie Bradshaw.

But in terms of fashion, they come second to SATC (sorry but I'm a die hard SATC fan and can't wait 'till May 30th). The women are all so stylish but to me Lucy Liu stands out the most. As the publisher of a magazine company, Lucy Liu is always wearing something so eternally chic that it makes me think Carrie is having a run for her Manolo's. But no matter what, no one can forget the florals in Sex and the City and the shoes ("Hello Gorgeous").
