Born and raised in Toulouse France, Fafi's strong presence in the graffiti and fine arts scene was first witnessed on her hometown walls in 1994. Back then, as she was painting and hustling, her sexy, funny, and sometimes aggressive girl characters made the whole world look and help kick-start a whole new graphic language; by exploring feminity through stereotypes, and using it to her advantage, she drew enormous attention and thus started to travel the world with thousands of Fafinettes in her brushes and paint cans. Soon enough she had numerous expositions and collaborations with Colette, Adidas, LeSportSac, Coca-Cola and countless press stories in the most prestigious fashion magazines. The animation world started to hound her when they saw her vision in a Mark Ronson video featuring a Fafi-ed Lily Allen.
From what I've been reading online though, the official release date is Feb. 13 where you not only get makeup but limited edition Fafi Dolls. Here are some pics I found online:

Here are my purchases from the M.A.C Counter in Macy's:
Powder Blush in Fashion Frenzy:
Don't let the bright Pink fool you. This color looks AMAZING on dark skin tones! The pink comes out in a really flattering way (read: not making you look like a fool in pink blush).
Iridescent Powder in Verve-Acious:
I normally stay away from shimmery face powders but this one looked soo cute and was inspired by someone (see future posts) to wear it. This color also looks great on dark skin (in case you haven't learned by now, I'm African American/Hispanic and have dark skin- not Chanel Iman over here!). I normally have problems buying shimmery face products because they don't really cater to my skin complexion and I end up looking pale- no bueno. But this really does work...the MAC sales lady was nice enough to save me from buying another color and explained to me that while they both look the same the Verve-acious has more bronzer in it.

I'm seriously considering MAC after all your posts and what the girl in my fashion class tells me.
