My name is Eileen, and I am twenty-one-years-old. If you didn't get the quote above, its okay, but I live in the wonderful city of Brooklyn.

I am currently an undergrad at Iona College (GO GAELS!) and I'm studying Public Relations. I have yet decided if I want to go through with my childhood plan/dream of attending law school (Cornell get ready for me!) or if I should do what my heart says and use my PR degree and go into fashion pr. Stay tuned for that one...

I started MissWhoever You Are after watching my fave movie of all time Breakfast at Tiffany's for the 19089274th time. The part of the movie that had actually grabbed me was, in the end, where Paul Varjack tells Holly Golightly:

"You know what's wrong with you, Miss Whoever-You-Are? You're chicken. You're afraid to stick out your chin and say, 'Okay, life's a fact.' People DO fall in love. People do belong to each other. Because that's the only chance anybody's got for real happiness."

This quote stuck with me for some odd reason...combine that with the immense amount of free time I had that day I decided to start this dear old blog using the name, MissWhoever You Are. But rather talk about love and all that gushy stuff I have yet to experience in my (then) 19 years of living I wrote about the one topic my friend neither cared about nor understood- fashion, beauty, and the occasional celebrity obsession. The internet has the amazing ability to connect people with interests such as mine and I've discovered that mainly through blogging. I have found other people who are addicted to beauty and crave fashion. This blog has become a full-blown hobby. It is amazing to interact with readers and fellow blog editors everyday with each new post.

Because I don't have money growing out of my pockets, I can't afford the Marc Jacobs handbag of the season nor can I get the Alexander Wang ankle boots I've been dying for (hell, even those NARS eyeshadows hurts the pockets) but with every post I try to give an honest opinion and keep an open mind.

As long as my bank account agrees.

It's hard for me to write a biography of myself because there's so much to be said (I'm a rare on ya know..hehe) but should you have any questions feel free to email me at editor@misswhoeveryouare.com
